opossum

tonight I got done watching the movie My side of the mountain so I went up stairs and looked out My bedroom window at a trap I baited with mashed potato's and a piece of turkey leftover's from thanks giving. I faintly saw something small and white moving around, I got excited, I ran down stairs grabbed a flashlight and flew out the door. I was out side in the yard with bare feet, it was cold, I shined My light on the trap and sher enough there was the possum in the trap. I got My dad and Blaine and they came outside to see it. My dad got an idea and brought the possum inside, My mom was in the kitchen on the phone with My grandma. we put the trap on the kitchen counter, mom started shouting, "get that thing out of the house". we took it outside then took some pictures of it. when I let it go I figured out that it lives under our shed. I put some elk meet chili outside its home. I named the possum Ricky.
